Many have fallen short of one's true potential and will miss their dream by living in someone else box of expectations. We live to measure up to how others view our life. These people are sometimes right in our immediate circle; friends, family, co-workers, etc. Of course, everyone desires to be like, and to fit in. It is only natural to want to b excepted and -appreciated by our peers.
We work very hard, utilizing much- wasted energy and sleep trying to please others who will never be satisfied no matter what we do. Understand, this kind of person will never be happy for you, will never support you, will never have anything good to say about you out of your presence, and you will have spent your entire life living in their box of expectations and missing out on your god-given destiny.
Rethink living in the box of expectations of others who care nothing for you. Dare to think outside of the box. Oftentimes, many may not want the best for you, Therefore, they will try to minimize who you are no matter what you do. Some will even laugh and grin when you express your dream to them with that facial expression, as to say, "Yeah Right!"
ones to detach from individuals who live upon negative energy anytime you express something positive about your dream. They will give you the look of discouragement. That energy is purposely meant to keep you complacent, locked in their box of expectations for your life. Some people, if they haven't done it, do not want you to do it either.
Locked up, inside of every one of us is a set of unique characteristics and talents just waiting to be explored and developed. But many youths have fallen into the stagnating forces of living for others and forgetting about themselves and the unique set of gifts and abilities that God has given them.
Don't get me wrong, even many adults fall into the trap of living in the box of expectations of others, and miss a lifetime of missed dreams and opportunities as well. No one is exempt. Be determined not to need validations from others before advancing your dreams. Validate yourself. Be confident in the abilities that God has imparted to only you.
Dare to be different.

Don't live to the expectations of others, especially those who don't embrace your dreams and you know don't want the best for you. Many times if others have not done it, they don't want you to accomplish anything because of their limited thinking and imagination. Living t the toon oflimitedmindedd people will certainly put you in line to miss opportunities of a lifetime. Don't be afraid to work on yourself, and the skills that will carry you in life.
FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS NO MATTER WHAT
Don't be afraid to talk different, to dress different, to speak differently, even when your friends are dressing like everyone else, speaking like everyone else, and acting like everyone else. You dare to be different.
Stand out for being a leader of your morals and what you believe in. Surround yourself with people who can nurture and support your vision, and surround yourself with people who are happy for you, even if they cannot see your vision at the time. Keep believing in yourself, and stop trying to fit into the expectations of common thinking people. If you do these, you will discover years from now, when you are on top and the ones who said you cannot make it will be the ones standing on the sidelines sweltering in their disbelief. Learn to make your haters the wind beneath your wings. When they try to be a dream denier, you take your wings and fly a little bit higher.
I LEAVE YOU WITH THIS STORY.
There was a farmer who farmed chickens for a living. He often kept the chickens locked in a cage because of the many chickens that he owned. But there was this one parculiarpeculiar chicken that was not like the other chickens. He walked differently and clucked differently. All of the other chickens would always pick and make fun of him. They had even gone to the assault to group attack this chicken to cause him harm.
The farmer became concerned and decided to invite another farmer friend over to inspect the situation, and to give him an opinion of why this one chicken was so strange, well, different from the other chickens.
So as the farmer friend began to evaluate the situation, he revealingly goes, "Well there's your answer". The farmer's friend says Huh!! Anxious to hear the explanation; The farmer's friend says, "no wonder he is different because he is different!" The farmer is still puzzled waiting for more explanation. The friend replys. "That is not a chicken in that cage. That is an eagle.
They surprisingly let the eagle out of the cage with the other chickens. The eagle to one step, very wobbly and unsteady. Then the eagle took another step and began to get in alignment with his step. Then this tiny frail eagle began to spread his wings and then took off into the sky. He began to hover over the other chickens in the cage as his wings became stronger and then took off; Never to return except to help the other chickens rescued from the cages. He did not hold a grudge. He just helped them. Because he was an eagle.
The same chickens that picked, ridiculed, and abused this chicken, was the same eagle that came to rescue them out of captivity.
Be an eagle. Come from amongst the chickens who will try to discourage your dream.
Spread your wings and fly, because the sky is the limit.
The Chickens Are Those Who will:
1. Have no dream at all, but will criticize and minimize your dream.
2. Discourage those who do have a dream
3. Will talk about you behind your back to others about how silly your dream is.
4. Those that will try to sabotage everyone of your positive efforts.
5. Never can acknowledge or say anything positive or enlightening about your accomplishments or efforts.
6. Displays of obvious jealousy and envy
DON'T MISS YOUR DESTINY
